Hey everyone!! I am so excited to be posting my first blog! This is just the beginning of a journey across the world to spread the gospel to the nations. I am so happy that I get to have this blog to keep y'all updated on all the adventures and stories that are to come!

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Tatelyn and I was born and raised in Dallas Texas. I have grown up in a family that loves the Lord and I am so thankful to say that I have not known a day away from Him.

Some of my favorite things are -

• Flowers

• Traveling

• Music/Singing

• Being with my friends and family

• Being outside

Along with all of my favorite things, I love to invest in relationships and encourage and support the people that are around me. I am learning to use my gifts of compassion and attentiveness to serve others. I have an eye for beauty in the small and simple things and I am learning to use those talents to show others the love of Christ.

I have decided to go on this trip because I believe Jesus calls us to step out of comfort and into faith. Recently the Lord has been showing me the joy that comes with serving others, sharing His love, and being a part of something bigger than myself. He has given me tools to go out and share the gospel with the people who need to hear it. I want my life to reflect who Jesus is, not just in words but in actions, and I believe that this trip is the next step in being obedient to what Jesus has called me to do.

Right now, I am preparing. Asking God to make me gentle, present, teachable, and courageous. If I could ask for one thing, it would be prayer. Please pray that I would listen well, serve quietly, stay rooted in truth, and walk closely with the Lord in every moment.

As I prepare my heart for this trip, I am also creating goals. My hope and prayer is that the Lord will guide my feet to the people he wants me to pour into and serve. My goal is to create a meaningful list of people I encounter, serve, and share the gospel with, so I can pray for them, follow up, and continue supporting them spiritually. With your prayers and partnership, I hope to faithfully serve, share the gospel, and see God move in the lives of the people I meet.
